As we can recall, around 2013-2014 that Canada shipped their trash in the Philippines. But sad to say, the Canadian government still keeping the trash in the country. And up until now, they still not going to get back it.

Meanwhile, just recently, Menardo Guevarra who is the Secretary of the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the current officer-in-charge of the executive department released a statement that the garbage that was sent by Canada was verified to be taken back on its origin tomorrow.
Guevarra also stated that the expenses of the shipment that will occur will be shouldered by the Canadian government which can cost around 10 million pesos.
Canadian government hired three shipping companies to collect the higher than 100 containers of garbage that will be shipped to Canada.
President Rodrigo Duterte was also the one who was restoring the discussion on the Canadian trash and he also said that he doesn't care if war will occur between in the country and in Canada if it continuously insisting to not get their garbage and stick to their decision to keep the garbage in the Philippines.
The President stated,
“Your garbage is on its way, prepare a grand reception, eat it if you want to.”
The Philippine government already give Canada a deadline to get their garbage out on the country on May 15, 2019, but then, this deadline doesn't meet and the garbage was still on the country that's why the current administration was commanded to recall their representative in Ottawa.
The President then decided to move the deadline into May 22 but if they still keep it until then, the President stated that he doesn't have a choice but to order the Philippine Government to sent back the trash of Canada that was shipped in the country even though his government will going to shoulder the price of shipping it back.
