As Mars Curiosity Rover completes its Sol 3624 on the red planet, it collected parts of the tailings from the new drilled target for analysis (canaima, drilling area).
NASA's Curiosity Mars rover acquired these image using its Mars Hand Lens Imager (MAHLI), located on the turret at the end of the rover's robotic arm, on Oct. 16, 2022, Mars Science Laboratory Mission Sol 3624, a at 22:51:43 UTC.
