LOOK: The SM City Batangas sealed its 3rd academic partnership this time with the University of Batangas through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed August 22, 2023 at University of Batangas, Lipa City campus.
The ceremonial MOA signing was graced by the University of Batangas executives led by its President, Dr. Hernando B. Perez, and VP for External Affairs, Dr. Abegayle Machelle M. Perez-Chua together with SM Officials led by SM South 4 Regional Operations Manager, Mr. Juan Marius C. Cortez, SM South 4
Regional Human Resources Manager, Ms. Rowena C. Ramos and SM City Batangas Mall Manager and Assistant Mall Manager, Ms. Gemina F. Buenaflor and Engr. Bernard M. Coronel, highlighted their joint commitment and support for the student's learning and development as well as career opportunities in the future.
Also present during the event were UB officials, Dr. Lionel Buenaflor - External Affairs Liaison, Mrs. Daisy Maghirang - External Affairs Project Specialist, Mr. Vincent Alcantara - UB Batangas City Student Affairs and External Programs Officer, Mrs. Milete, De Torres - UB Lipa City Student Affairs and External Programs Officer, Mrs. Razelle, Macaraig - Asst. With the academic partnership, SM aims to help qualified students learn and take part in the company's internship programs and learning sessions to strengthen their knowledge and skills in preparation for future careers, as well as assist with job placements.
