A man almost gives up hope after forgetting the password to his Bitcoin wallet that was created in college

The key to restoring access was an AI chatbot called Claude AI.

He uploaded files from his old college computer, and there AI helped him find old backup files, old wallet versions, and recovery data.

Eventually they found the older wallet.dat file made before changing the password. Because he still holds the old recovery phrase, he opened the wallet again without bypassing its security.
