Forty years ago, Ninoy Aquino insisted in going home to our country and faced his destiny, after three years of exile in Boston, and despite all the threats and warnings against his life.
His death will inspire a large segment of Filipinos who have remained apathetic to the abuses of Martial Law to finally break their silence and join the cause to break free from the chains of the Marcos dictatorship.
Ninoy was buried by 2 million Filipinos to his final resting place.
