Ibinunyag ni Senate Deputy Minority Leader Risa Hontiveros nitong Lunes, Disyembre 12, na ang naging pagsisiwalat ng mga biktima na umano'y pinagsamantalahan o sexually abused ng pinuno ng Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) na si Apollo Quiboloy.
Naghain si Hontiveros ng resolusyon na naghahangad ng pagsisiyasat sa Senado sa mga umano'y kaso ng large-scale human trafficking, rape, sexual abuse and violence, at child abuse na, aniya, ay isinagawa ni Quiboloy “under the cover of a religious organization.”
“Matapos po ang imbestigasyon sa Socorro, ako po ay nilapitan ng ilang mga biktima para mag-bunyag ng kanilang mga kwento. At gaya ng mga kwento ng mga biktima ni Senyor Agila gaya nila Chloe at Renz, napapakangilabot ang kanilang mga kwento. Front and center of these narratives are the systemic sexual abuse of women and children in the hands of this man that they call Pastor,” ani ni Hontiveros.
