Camp BGen Pantaleon Garcia Imus City, Cavite - The Cavite Police Provincial Office under the leadership of PCOL Christopher F Olazo, Officer-In-Charge announces the arrest of Emil Dela Rama for alarm and scandal and illegal possession of firearms in Brgy. Real 1, Bacoor City, Cavite afternoon of October 11, 2022.
Accodingly, the suspect while holding a shotgun made a scandalous acts by means of shouting and causing disturbance while holding an improvised shotgun “sumpak”. In an effort to appease the suspect, the brgy. tanod responded, but were threatened to be killed. In that instance, the tanods called the police thru a phone call to seek for assistance, immediately the police responded to verify the veracity of the report, there and then after confirming the incident, the law enforcers effect the arrest of the suspect.
Confiscated on the possession of the suspect are one (1) 12-gauge shotgun known as a "sumpak" and (2) rounds of live 12-gauge shotgun ammunition.
The Arrested suspect was apprised of his constitutional rights and subsequently brought to Bacoor City Police Station for the proper disposition of the case.
