In a Facebook post, veteran columnist Ramon Tulfo argued that Justice Secretary Boying Remulla should not resign from his post just because his son was arrested on drug charges.
"Si Juanito ay 36 at di na bata. Kung nagkamali man siya ay di kasalanan ng kanyang ama," he wrote. "Di na natin kasalanan bilang magulang kung ang tinatahak ng ating anak ay baku-bakong landas."
A netizen commented, "Di po siya ordinaryong tao, siya po ay Sec. of Justice, kaya dapat siya mag-resign. Nakakahiya po iyan, sarili nyang anak di nya kayang malinis."
